“First Love”

“First Love”

I write this in the very moment of my life where I feel at times I am dry in my relationship with God. This is a moment in my life where I feel as though I am not hearing His voice very often. Pushing myself to do so much and get over active in ministry; such as doing more in the church or out of the church. Putting my hands to the plow as the scripture says and yet still coming up empty. Worshiping and praising, having moments of just silence; just desiring to hear Him say one word and give me the proper direction. As I speak to Him and ask Him questions and even question His Will for my life because all I want to do is the right thing and be obedient to His word and will. It can be very disappointing when you seek to hear from Him and hear nothing. What do you do and what questions do you ask when you feel dry and feel like you’re wasting time?
In my personal relationship with Christ, I have come to these moments when I feel like I am not doing enough or anything at all to glorify God with my life. When I prayed and sought God in regards to this feeling and emotion. His answer to this was Romans 12:1-2 12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. This was so refreshing to know the one and main thing we are to do is just LIVE our lives for Him and Him alone, Jehovah God. All I can hear in my spirit was a song; that song by Kirk Franklin “First Love” ( ☺ ). For a short season it was enough and I was filled with Joy to know in my spirit that “I am alive” because of the air I breath is to glorify God. The air I breathe is just to live for Him. Ezekiel 37:5-6 5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.’”

Time went by and the Joy remained because I was in love all over again with my first love, because He first loved me. Loving on Him with a worship. At times I began to question God is this enough? Is this all God? For days I would ask this question and no answer. I would pray and pray and go to church some more and still feeling the joy; but God is this enough? Reading my word and remembering so much from when I was just a babe in Christ. In those days, not knowing what I should be doing but willing to just keep my hands busy for God. A zeal so strong. So I ask God bring me back to when my zeal was so strong. This time I heard the spirit of God whisper to me Jeremiah 18 Easy-to-Read Version
18 This is the message that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Jeremiah, go down to the potter’s house. I will give you my message there.”3 So I went down to the potter’s house and saw him working with clay at the wheel. 4 He was making a pot from clay. But there was something wrong with the pot. So the potter used that clay to make another pot. With his hands he shaped the pot the way he wanted it to be.5 Then this message from the Lord came to me: 6 “Family of Israel, you know that I can do the same thing with you. You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter.” This message is from the Lord. 7 “There may come a time when I will speak about a nation or a kingdom that I will pull up by its roots or tear down and destroy it. 8 But if the people of that nation change their hearts and lives and stop doing evil things, I will change my mind and not bring on them the disaster I planned.
Many times and moments in our lives God just wants to bring our focus directly on Him and we must remain at the basics of who we are to Him and remember to remain focus that He gives us purpose and that we are nothing if His hand is not upon us. Your personal Will is what keeps you to focus on Him and be humble enough to slow down and recognize when we are moving ahead of God and the course He desires you to be on. Listening to worship and praise music is not enough to having an ear to hear what direction God wants you to go. Many times it is a moment of you saying “Yes” to God, what should I do; listen and you yielding your will to His obedience. Which is true submission. It is submission when you turn your will to act on something that is not what you actually think you should or want to do, but you do it no matter how stubborn you feel about doing it. Proverbs 16:3 3 commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Many are facing those moments when they become a stray over and over again in God because they are not hearing His voice nor, feeling His loving presence. I assure you He is listening and He is still next to you. You just have to ask yourself How far away you are from God and when was the last time He heard your voice crying out to Him. And when was the last time you were obedient to Him (His word). Many times all God ask is that you live for Him and practice living for Him and learn of Him. Matthew 11:29 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This is merely an act of your own Will. Many chose not to do all that God ask because you’re will says that it’s too hard. But yet even if we are tired and exhausted we take those extra hours from work just to make extra money to spend it on things you personally want but don’t need. This I too have once upon a time been guilty of, but we must learn to willfully change our mindset to yield to God and His word. Romans 12:2 2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Then we will have allowed God to train us to live in the spirit and not in the flesh. Then those continuous cycles of small and simple mistakes of the good and acceptable will no longer delay us from Gods perfect will. The steps he placed for our lives will no longer be in delay. The troops the enemy tries to set before us, we will be able to run threw. The walls the enemy will try to place before us will no longer hold us because we will leap over them. War (Life) will try to knock you down but you will remain victorious. Romans 8:35-37 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

Our Perception VS. God’s Truth

Our Perception VS. God’s Truth

Perception: The way you think about or understand some one or something. The way that you notice or understand something using one of your senses.

1a. A result of perceiving, observation

1b. A mental image: concept

Now there are several words translated for the word perception in the greek (old testament)  language. I am going to choose Raah which means to see. There are about eleven for the hebrew (new testament) language. I am going to choose Noeo which means to perceive with the mind, to understand, to have understanding to think upon, heed, ponder, consider.

We all have our own way of seeing and perceiving things. It can come from how we were raised, the things we saw, that placed a root in us to receive life and every situation to our own ability of understanding as we grew with or without counsel, etc. The way we see something in front of us, we project it a certain way in our minds. Many of us, what we observe, we refuse to get counsel on, or even Godly counsel. Therefore many of us, judge the situation wrongfully because we have not monitored all the truth regarding it. This will allow you to make the wrong decisions in life, take the wrong path in life. As well as create cycles of destruction and build up walls within yourself, which can hinder you in life. Hinder your relationships and God favored opportunities.

How you perceive something is your reality, its the way you see it. The bible in Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

The question is just because you perceive it in your mind, is it actually true?

Proverbs 94:11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of a man, that they are vanity.  (Vanity: Excessive pride in or admiration of one’s own appearance or achievement.)

The reason why I chose to do a devotional on perception and Gods’ truth is because I projected a relationship with some one in a certain way and I should not have. It was a trust issue. I perceived this person to be trustworthy from my own projection of what they were doing towards me. My perception was false because I did not look at all of the details that surrounded me and I disregarded signs that I should not trust this individual with certain things. My thoughts were, they might treat this person this way, but they would not do that to me because I am their best friend. Me accepting my own perception allowed me to be deceived, which bought on consequences not only to me but to others that surrounded me.

I recently had a revelation, and the Holy Spirit led me to the Garden of Eden. Now before Adam and Eve sinned against God , they were living in the Spirit of God, and in His truth always, day and night. Truth surrounded them. What they saw with their eyes and projected in their minds was full of truth and it even lived on the inside of them. Until the day, the serpent made a statement “Yea hath God Said” in Genesis 3:1.

You see, God showed them things and what they saw fed their mind and soul, so that they can remain one with God. They had thoughts like God and moved like Him, even saw things the way he did. Genesis 2:1919 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.  Im sure God was amazed to see His own creation and to see that we would even operate and think just like Him. God had to see what Adam would call the animals. He wanted to see with His own eyes the beauty and truth of what he created. Adam was in agreement with God, so when he saw the animals the truth came out of  his mouth.Luke 6:4545 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Genesis 3:6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Now, this is where it get’s good. Where we can get real, huh? Where real can recognize real. You see, the very moment when something happens in our lives good or bad, tragic or  mesmerizing, we  create this perception which clouds our judgement. This allows us to give in to other options  and compromise with the truth. I know, I know, your like well how do I know what the truth is? First you should pray, and ask God to guide you to those that are of proper counsel. Also, you can recognize the truth through Gods word (the Bible). Proper counsel is not your best friend or co-worker. If it does not line up with the word of God, then do not let their opinions detour you from the truth. Yes, you have to go through certain experiances to grow and mature, but we are talking about the principles of Gods truth and us detouring from it due to our own thoughts.  You have to gain self control over your feelings or rather how you pursue many situations. This is not an easy task but we must fight to live in the truth of God, every moment of our lives. This should be an aim to want to please Him. Romans 8:5-6  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Genesis 3:3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

When Adam sinned, we died to God spiritually. We couldn’t only perceive things the way God would see them any longer, but was open to Satan’s suggestions. We were no longer one with God. We were allotted access to a carnal mind. A mind that wants options other than total subjection to God’s full truth.

Pray, Meditate, Initiate.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your wisdom and the counsel of your word. I subject my mind and thoughts towards your truth. For I pray for a mind like Christ Jesus. For your word says, Blessed the mind of the righteous. I thank you for the Holy Spirit and may He continue to guide me to the path that is of righteousness. I bind and cast down every negative thought and suggestion that is not in line with God  or His word and I loose the mind of Christ upon me and the peace of God. I will believe the report or the Lord. Father give me the wisdom and discernment to know the difference of your voice and my own. I decree and declare that my thoughts are lined up with the will and purpose of God for my life. I seal this pray with the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus name, AMEN!

Lord Jesus,

I am a Sinner. Come into my heart. I believe you are the son of God(Jehovah) and that he raised you from the dead. I believe you are Alive today. Satan I am no longer your friend, Nor am I in agreement with you. I renounce you and your wicked ways now. Lord Jesus Forgive me for my sins, known and unknown. Salvation Is A Gift

SALVATION IS A GIFT

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Salvation:   1. a. Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.

                         b. A source, means, or cause of such preservation or deliverance.

Salvation is a subject that is sensitive to many. This subject is a need for every one because God says in the bible 1Timothy 2:2-4 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. God’s desire and heavenly vision is for all of us to come back to him. Today are you willing to receive salvation? If not, at least humble yourself, lower your pride and have an open mind. Ask Jesus, if he is who He says He is, and to show you. I have faith and believe that He is and Will answer you. Just be patient enough to wait for an answer, just wait…

Salvation is a gift that can not only change your life, but change the lives of others that surround you. It doesn’t just change your life for a moment, but it changes your life daily and for eternity, forever. People daily are hurting and mourning on the inside, lashing out with violent actions or just being completely silent in their pain. I am a witness that God hears you, this is why He has me to write. Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that MOURN in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Many have a void that they seek to fulfill. You try to fill it with fleshly things like people (significant other(s), substances (alcohol, drugs), distractions (work, t.v. , video games), money, etc. I assure you, as a witness, I am someone who used to find selfish pleasure in believing that either one or all of those desires I have listed would have filled the void of unhappiness, or even pain. It didn’t, but Jesus did, has and continues to fill me with his love. If you ever felt that sorrow feeling that would come to you, when you are going through adversity in life? This void can only be filled in the spirit and by the Holy Spirit (God, the third person of trinity). Romans 8:13 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Salvation is a precious gift. A gift that is given freely to you. It only cost God(Jehovah first person of trinity) His only son. John 3:1616 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Many people perish because they go through life not knowing that someone actually cares and loves them. The experience of rejection, pain and just life’s turmoil, bring many to a place of sorrow, guilt and selfish commitments/actions, that only hurt ourselves and the one’s around us. These actions only blind us from the truth and keeps us from the one who first loved us.

Let me mention the difference between the foundations of fear and love and what they bring to the surface, their outcomes. Fear is the foundation that immoral acts come from. Fear brings confusion, Pride, not forgiving, negative words, thoughts, imaginations, anything that is hurtful to yourself and to others. One logic is for example, when you watch a scary movie, it’s foundation is to get you to be afraid. The movie posses things or people hurting and/or killing other people, placing them in a position for their feelings to be hurt. As you watch this movie, you do what? You begin to feel those emotions from the actor/actress. It’s an attachment because it may relate to you. You may have experienced merely one or all of the emotions being displayed.

Now God is Love. His foundation is based on Love. When you except and receive God’s love, then you will know/experience the difference between fear and love. The actions that surround the foundation of love is forgiveness, humility, and joy. You will not be quick to blame but want to resolve the issue under humility and peace. Love brings a positive solution to any situation. 1 John 4:18-19 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.19 We love him, because he first loved us.

Romans 8:5 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus Loves you. God has not forgotten about you. He desires all of us to be with and apart of him. After all, he created us in His likeness and image. The scripture romans 8:5 that is listed above, says that he commanded His love to be toward us. WOW! I mean, that means it’s something he has to do it, no matter what we do or how wrong we are. That alone should have all of us in awe of Him. He has claimed us, but many have not claimed Him. God has invited all of us to be with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh, second person of the trinity). Excepting salvation through Jesus Christ gives you life, everlasting life. Exchanging your sorrow for gladness, your pain for joy, your resentment into love and forgiveness and your confusion for peace. If God can love and allow Moses who was a murderer, then trust him to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt, then surely he has forgiven you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

There is no one and no other god, that offers us salvation and delivers us from our sins, but Jesus. He cares so much about you and your family. Believe and receive His Love. He can deliver you from the imbalance you feel in this life. Matthew 11:2828 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Many of you don’t understand your life and do not know why you are alive. You want to die because your heart is overwhelmed with fear. Even if, you don’t think about it, the thoughts of suicide comes across your thoughts. Only Jesus! can kill and bring back to life, meaning he can kill the fear that lives in your heart(spirit) and quicken(give life) in that same man, a new heart(Spirit). Let Jesus quiet your storm by you just believing on and saying His name, Jesus.

Lift your hands and humble your hearts. Don’t be afraid and say this prayer

Heavenly Father,

I am a sinner, I come to you heavy burdened. Please hear my voice. Forgive me of my sins, for I have sinned against you and have rejected you. I believe that your son Jesus died for my sins and you raised Him from the dead. He is alive today. Satan, I am no longer in agreement with you and your ways. Lord, Jesus come into my life, change my heart. I desire to live for you, wash me, cleanse me now. I receive you and your Love Now!, In your son Jesus name, I pray, AMEN!

Praying For Your Enemies

Definition: Forgiveness: to stop feeling anger toward (someone who has done something wrong) : to stop blaming (someone), 2: to stop feeling anger about (something) : to forgive someone for (something wrong), 3: to stop requiring payment of (money that is owed). A synonym for forgiveness is pardon.

Praying for your enemies is a difficult task for your mind and spirit (heart) to come into agreement. Many of us have had people lie on our names or even do us terribly wrong. It may have been your mother, father , siblings, neighbor, close friend, significant other, etc. To be honest my heart goes out to the ones who actually believe the lies, just saying. Jesus was even lied on, not even his own brother believed he was The Son Of God. (Scripture John 9:3-5  His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him.)

Let me tell you a small story. There was a little girl who grew up in a very low poverty community. she had several other siblings and they shared a mother who was addicted to drugs and many things of her flesh, which over time caused her to abandon her children. The children loved their mother deeply and accepted her no matter her wrongful and neglectful ways towards them. Their mother did teach them to always stick together no matter what. The young girl being the only girl of the siblings, had to take on the mother role in so many ways, due to the neglectful actions of their mother. What a burden on the child this was, but she was ok with it as long as all of them were together as a family, even though mom vaguely was present. Of course over time, due to the absence of an adult, its only but so much order children can keep in a home. So consequences came about and the young girl was taken from her home and separated from her siblings.

The young girl was deeply wounded and scarred by what her mother’s selfish actions placed her and her family in. She felt broken, resentment towards her mother, she was angry and even a piece of her felt like she let her mother down because her mother left her in charge to be the woman of the house. She was confused and unforgiving to her mother for many years. Bitterness and negativity was her foundation to keep any one else from hurting her. She placed in her frontal lobe that negative has to happen because it was all she knew and understood. She looked forward to it, and had no remorse. She felt she can challenge any kind of pain and hurt because nothing else can hurt more than some one’s own mother turning their back to their children and abandoning them.

As years went on the girl grew older and her pain grew with her. Through out those years she did maintain a relationship with her mom but still had resentment toward her. She had not yet truly forgave her mom, nor did she have any real closure to why her and her siblings were hurt so bad. As time went on, she began a journey to except Jesus in her life and to have a relationship with God. As she prayed for her heart to be healed and prayed for her family. She prayed for the hurt that was on her and her siblings hearts regarding their mother. Over time trusting in God, God gave the young girl a revelation(understanding) and answer to her question that was never answered by her mom. Why did my mother abandon us? God said to her, you must forgive your mother because she was not able to properly take care of herself, so how could she possibly take care of you and your siblings. She never looked at it from that perspective.

You see her mom was hurting and in pain and she subconsciously knew she was wrong for how she was treating herself and her children. Though in her conscious she didn’t realize she couldn’t take care of herself, thus for not being able to take care of her children. Well, Of course the girl was then able to freely forgive and forget the hurt and pain her mother subjected to her. she then embarked on her healing journey, letting God mend her broken heart. Now having the greatest relationship that her and her mother could ever have. Mother is also now drug free!

Many say well I forgive but I’m not going to forget. Well, that’s not what the word of God states. (Scripture: Matthew 16:14-15  For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.) Yet we want God to forgive us of the things we continuously do to hurt him. Yet he does forgive us and forget our sins. I can not imagine Him saying I forgive you, but I can’t get off my mind what you did to me. God(Jehovah) forgave us and in order for him to forget our sins, he sent Jesus! (Scripture: Micah 7:18-19 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.)

To forgive your enemies will take much courage and humility. Many will be strong in the Lord concerning this subject, but many will be in disobedience with God and choose not to walk in forgiveness. Just think about God’s mercy that is on you, will you not have mercy on your enemy. (Scripture: Lamentations: 3:22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.) Your positive and forgiving prayers and/or actions towards your enemy(enemies) may be that one prayer and/or deed to allow your enemy to be rescued by God’s spirit and be saved. There is power in forgiveness.

Pray and ask God to start the process of healing your broken heart as you embark on your journey of forgiveness towards your enemies. Ask him for the strength by His spirit to train you to walk in longsuffering as He does for us. Making it easy for us to dismiss hatred, hurt and pain because those things are not of Him(God). If you don’t know what or how to strategically pray, then pray the Lord’s prayer, Matthew 6:9-13.

Pray, Meditate and Initiate: Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Do Not Fear to Live Holy

Psalms 27:4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Blessings!

A Christians daily desire is to want to live and imitate God every day. Many of us including myself as sons and daughters of God should be casting down thoughts and imaginations that are contrary to God and His word. (Scripture : 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;) I just want to say “Don’t be afraid to live holy!”

Live holy unto God so he can use you in a mighty powerful way. (Scripture: Hebrews 12:14 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:)  I, personally and so does God know that this is not an easy task that he requires of us, but it can be done; and many devoted Christians are living it! This is where part of our power we receive from God comes from; living a life holy and acceptable unto God. (scripture Romans 12:1) Beloved, be bold and willing to have a desire to please the Lord your God. This will be a difficult task but God has your back, but let whom ever you are having in your circle know you can not go against your heavenly father any longer.

I speak from experience when I say this task will bring forth pain and you may even cry, but just know it gets easier when you have faith in God (Scripture Mark 11:22). You experience these feelings because for so long your flesh has indulged on being disobedient to God. Your heart is familiar with the comfort of these feelings and/or bad habits  that are lies. It is not love and it definitely doesn’t feel good when your body has to try to resist against how you have poorly treated it for so long.(Ex: Smoking, drinking, sex, bad eating habits, attitude, language, etc.) I understand even if its the strongest love you are ever experiencing in your life, you may have to let them go if they do not choose to eventually want to live right.

Let me say this, when we really love some one with the love of God, we will not want to see the souls of the ones we love perish. Nor do we want to be the very reason we are bringing them into damnation. I truthfully didn’t understand exactly what it meant to actually live holy and the consequences and lack it brings when you don’t live holy, until the holy spirit convicted me and revealed to me what we are actually doing to each other. Some of you may be like, well I have my own relationship with God and he knows my heart. Yes, this is great  and also true. He knows what we all need to work on. The question is, Are you actually making any attempt to turn away from the things that turns your angels faces, when you are doing things that aren’t pleasing to God?

This is why the world hates Jesus (scripture: John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.) yet we will act on our fleshly wrongful desires to please others, ourselves and devil; other than being willing to please Jesus, the one who truly loves.

You Ask: Well, how do I live holy?  I mean it’s all around me and this is just who I AM.

To answer your question, if you say that this is who you are then beloved, you have yet to truly excepted the Lord into your life. (Scripture: James 1:8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.)

When we were walking in unrighteousness and living wrong, we needed something all the time to fill that negative void. Rather it was music we plugged in our ears for hours or movies we watched  or how about the conversations we negatively entertained, etc. God is just the very opposite of what we negatively knew or know. I’m not saying that you won’t make mistakes. but now that you have become a new creature (scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.) you are to walk in faith as a new creature and strive every moment of the day to live in holiness and walk in righteousness.

Read, Meditate, Quote and Initiate: Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Lord Jesus,

I am a Sinner. Come into my heart. I believe you are the son of God and that he raised you from the dead. I believe you are Alive today. Satan I am no longer your friend, Nor am I in agreement with you. I renounce you and your wicked ways now. Lord Jesus Forgive me for my sins, known and unknown. Please come into my life and change me now. Bless me with the Holy Ghost that I may be lead in the path of righteousness. In Jesus! name I pray, Amen!

The Angels are Rejoicing in Heaven and so am I.  Continue to meditate on Gods word daily rather it be a proverb and/or Psalm, as well as gospels John, Matthew, Mark and Luke, etc.
